Welcome to
the W&DDTC committee! You'll meet our committee members at club in
various roles, but we all have one thing in common - we are all
committed to making your experience of our club the very best it can be.
CarolineCaroline is Chairman and Head Trainer of our club. She is a qualified teacher with 35 years' practical classroom experience, and has been using those skills at club for the past 28 years. Caroline has owned dogs all her life, and is a Kennel Club A-list Accredited Examiner for all levels of the Kennel Club Good Citizen Award Scheme. She is also a member of the KCAI scheme. Caroline instructs the Puppy, Companion, Silver and Gold classes. Her current dog, Jess, is a Lab/Collie cross who came to her as a rescue from the RSPCA and now competes in agility at Grade 4. RachelWe are really lucky that Rachel has joined our team after training her dogs Evie and Dottie with us. In 'real life', Rachel is a teaching assistant, so she is a superb helper in classes, especially Puppy class. Rachel has trained dogs to Gold GCDS level and competes in agility, so she has lots of experience to share. | PaulinePauline is our Vice President, a stalwart of our club and also the owner of the amazing Wellcat Centre in Quinton. She has achieved the Kennel Club GCDS Gold award with her Rough Collie Siva and her Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Bailey, who is sadly no longer with us. Pauline is the welcoming face of our Club and is always ready with a big warm smile and a cup of tea on your arrival. Mair Franklin![]() KarenWe are very happy and excited that Karen has joined our team as assistant instructor and has also taken on the role of Treasurer. Karen has gained a huge amount of experience throughout her life with many different breeds, from the large (Bull Mastiffs, German Shepherds, St Bernards) to small (Pekinese, Pugs, Corgis). She currently competes in agility at Grade 4 with her Boxer/Collie rescue dog Madge, who has also achieved her GCDS Gold award. Karen also owns Paddy, a German Shepherd. Karen is working towards KCAI accredition and keeps her skills and knowledge up to date by regularly attending seminars and training events throughout the year. |
